And now, we’re bringing exactly this spectacle to the heart of Germany – with a load more action. The BAJA 300 POWERDAYS combines three days of everything offroad fans love: Blood-curdling 800 hp monsters, drifts, super stars, spectacular jumps, motorsport right up close, awesome parties and a programme for the whole family. All this makes the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS Europe’s greatest offroad festival – the likes of which the ‘old world’ has never seen before!
Offroad monsters, drift artists and mega jumps The BAJA 300 POWERDAYS combines races in four spectacular classes in a festival lasting several days. Internationally unique, here in one event are top drivers from the US SCORE Series and the international offroad scene, the bone breaker race of quads and motocross aces as well as the flying freestyle bikes with their mega jumps and the 1st Central German rally, a race with a great future. No dry eyes here and no time for boredom.
Stars, Stars, Stars Only at the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS: In the south of Leipzig, international stars come together from a variety of series. Where else could US star BJ Baldwin talk shop with World Rally Champion Petter Solberg? When else could Germany’s rally ace Armin Schwarz meet top bikers from the freestyle scene? The list of prominent competitors is growing by the day – but more about that soon!
Action and party: And you right in the thick of it! Stars and car on one side of the fence, you the fan on the other? Not at the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS! Here, you are right in the middle of the action day and night. We’re continuing what the cult of the POWERDAYS in the US and Mexico represents: open access to the paddock and right up close to drivers and their machines virtually all the time. This creates an indescribably familiar atmosphere. Be there and let US stars explain about their 800 hp Trophy Trucks, look under the hood of a WRC vehicle or take a shot for the family album of your kids with your idols!
Food and drinks: Mexico meets Germany Eating dust is only reserved for race drivers. A wide range of snack shops, from the classic German curry wurst to Mexican burritos – more commonly known as wraps – are all waiting for hungry fans. Quench your thirst during a hot summer festival with a chilled Tequila beer. Bars on every corner bring the true Mexican feel to Germany.
Don’t just look - drive! Do you want to get the offroad feeling by just looking, or do you want to have a go against the stars? No problem! Another highlight of the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS is that anyone who dares and has a vehicle that conforms to the regulations can take part in the international starter field. Short cuts: Right in the heart of Germany The location south of Leipzig is easy to find, whether you’re coming from Germany, Europe or overseas. It has a direct autobahn exit and is easy to reach from all directions. Those flying in can use the international airports in Leipzig, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich or Prague.
